However, if you go outside or are in a brightly lit room, it's harder to see the screen. The protector applied easily without any air bubbles, etc. It was great indoors and looked pretty cool. Often I was looking at myself. I only kept it on my phone for a few days before I couldn't take it anymore.
The screen was okay. One needs to pay a little more attention while sticking this to the iphone screen. air bubbles are the obvious problem; in addition, the screen carries a glare at times. So for someone looking for the best type would need to search for anti-glare screen which would of course be more expensive. However, its still worth its price.
When not turned on, this cover looks like a mirror on the iphone. For some reason, I bought this when it was $2.43. When the phone is on, there is a lot of glare and makes the screen unviewable outdoors. Now it's less than a buck. I was disappointed with this cover because it is VERY reflective. I'm trashing mine and looking for another. It did go on without any bubbles though.
I received a "mirror" screen guard, which makes the screen look like a mirror when the phone is off. It causes oil-slick like patterns with the colors when the phone is on, so there are odd rainbow colors all the time. I can't use it like this; it makes me queasy to try to read text on the screen for any length of time.
there were bubbles galore that i could not remove. even for other people 'cause i'm good at it), but couldn't even figure out which side was the protector and which side was the back cover for the protector (it wasn't clear and none of the instructions indicated the correct method). i tried to put this screen on my iphone 3G (and i have put on several screens in the past, no problem. not to mention the tab that is supposed to help you get the thing on is practically super glued to the screen, only could get off the top half of the sticker, the white remained. i now think the super thin side was supposed to be the protector. even if you figure out which side it the right side, good luck getting it on your phone. waste of $3 (incl shipping). i guess you get what you pay for.
